Galaxy SThis is the "gold standard" for fixing connectivity issues. It clears saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth pairings, forcing the phone to create fresh connections.
Go to Settings > General Management. Tap Reset > Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. Tap Reset settings to confirm. 2. Disable "Switch to Mobile Data" (Intelligent Wi-Fi)
Sometimes the phone constantly checks for a "better" connection, which causes lag or speed drops.
Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi. Tap the three dots (or Intelligent Wi-Fi) in the top right. Toggle off Switch to mobile data. Also, try toggling Wi-Fi power saving mode off to see if speeds improve. 3. Change the Phone's DNS
Standard ISP DNS servers can be slow. Switching to Google or Cloudflare can often stabilize speeds.
Go to Settings > Connections > More connection settings. Tap Private DNS. Select Private DNS provider hostname and enter dns.google or 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com. 4. Router Side: Separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz/6GHz
The S25 Ultra supports Wi-Fi 7. If your router uses "Smart Connect" (merging all bands into one name), the phone might be jumping to the slower 2.4GHz band.
Solution: Log into your router and give the 5GHz or 6GHz band a different name (e.g., "Home_5G"). Connect your S25 Ultra specifically to that one.

Galaxy SThank you for sharing your experience with the internet speed on your Galaxy S25 Ultra. We understand how important it is to have a fast and reliable connection, and we apologize for the inconvenience you've been facing with Wi-Fi performance.
There are several factors that can affect Wi-Fi speeds, and we recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps to improve your connection:
- Check Router Settings:
- Ensure your router is capable of delivering high-speed internet (e.g., Wi-Fi 6 or 5 GHz band).
- Try restarting your router to clear any temporary issues.
Move Closer to the Router: If possible, move closer to the Wi-Fi router to reduce interference and signal loss.
Forget and Reconnect to the Network: Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi, select your network, and tap Forget. Then reconnect by entering the Wi-Fi password again.
Check for Interference: Other electronic devices or appliances (microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) could be causing interference. Try changing the Wi-Fi channel in the router settings.
Test on Different Networks: If possible, test your phone’s internet speed on a different Wi-Fi network (such as at a friend's house or public Wi-Fi) to see if the issue persists.
Software Update: Ensure your device is running the latest software by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Reset Network Settings: If the issue continues, you can reset your network settings by going to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings. Please note that this will remove saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth pairings. If these steps do not improve your Wi-Fi speed, we recommend visiting an authorized Samsung Service Center to have your device thoroughly checked. You can find the nearest center using the following link:

We hope these steps help resolve the issue. Thank you for your patience, and feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.

Galaxy SThank you for your update and for confirming that the troubleshooting steps were already performed.
If the Wi-Fi internet speed issue on your Galaxy S25 Ultra persists even after resetting network settings, testing different Wi-Fi networks, and confirming the router configuration, this indicates that the behavior is not related to basic settings or environmental interference.
At this stage, we recommend the following final checks:
- Ensure the issue occurs on multiple high-speed Wi-Fi networks (not only one router).
- Verify that there are no active Secure Wi-Fi or third-party network management applications affecting connectivity.
- Confirm that the device is operating in Safe Mode to rule out third-party app interference.
- If the issue continues after these checks, the device will require a physical inspection to evaluate the Wi-Fi hardware and internal antennas.
- We recommend visiting the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center for a full diagnosis. Our service team will be able to verify the device performance and provide the appropriate solution.
