Basically the title.

Currently it displays both the Gregorian and Islamic Date when I pull down the notification shade.
I want it to display just the Gregorian date.
Could someone guide me on how to go about doing this?

No man, no way to fix it. I guess it's a region based thing, another Samsung device I purchased in another region doesn't have this. Should probably try emailing Samsung about this, this should be a pretty easy thing to fix.

Did someone figure this out yet? I still can't seem to find anything when I search.

Surely this must be a setting somewhere?
