How to change region?

Hi guys, i have bought s20+ 5g mobile, model no SM-G986B/DS. I am travelling to India. My phone region is showing as UAE. How to change my region to India without affecting my software updates?. Cause i have seen people telling that once they go to india, some features are not working.

I have used UAE variants of Note 4 and Note 9 in India, I didn't have any issues with any of the features.
If you wish to change the firmware version, download Indian version of the software and flash it with Odin. You can find detailed tutorial on YouTube.
Make sure the device model number is same both in India and UAE.

I dont think the model number is available in India. when i search in sammobile, i am getting european countries, australia and UAE.

am also using a51 purchased in dubai and using in tamil nadu india , am not facing any issue,

at the beginning time itself you have to choose country as india ,

bad thing is some features allowed in india is not supported dubai version, example you can't use CALL RECORDER, inbuilt and playstore downloaded.

that's a different.

if you are permanently going to use in india then flash with india firmware, you willnot get warranty.

and one more thing, change country or create new Google account for playstore , for india app like aadhar, will not able to download if you have dubai Google account,

you can change in playstore settings but if you can't change the country again for 365 days. what a stupid procedure

i am permanently going to India. all my google account is already Indian only. but i am not able to find the same model number for indian firmware
