Issue encountered after March software update. The following did not resolve the issue:
  • Booting in safe mode
  • Factory reset
  • Turning off blue light filter
  • Wipe partition cache
  • Turn off adaptive screen brightness
A lot of other users are encountering the same problem (mostly Note 9 users) after March update.

Workaround is to have the AOD displayed always.

Same here, galaxy s9+.

Its been going on for months and they're still sending people to service centers to pay for a new screen.

The new Motorola Razr looks pretty cool.

Mine is on my A70 after the latest update last March 1, 2021.  Upon screen lock, the screen will display flickering green lines with gradient effect. What I did is I turned off the Eye Comfort, raise the brightness up a little, and then turned on Always Display On. So far this the most effective for my device. Also noticed that it can't handle lowest brightness setting as it flickers back to normal brightness like a Christmas light giving me headache. I need update for this issue.

Hi there,

It would be best to bring the device to a Samsung Service Center to have the issue checked out by a technician.

Find the nearest service center to you online.
