Galaxy SIf you are using 2 SIM, please make sure that both of them are listed in SIM manager. A dual-SIM or a single-SIM tray will be included with your smartphone, depending on the model. You may utilize two SIM cards in one device while using a dual-SIM model. This is useful if you have several phone numbers for work and home or if you want to utilize a local number while keeping your primary number operational when traveling abroad.
Before you try out the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:
Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Activate dual SIM card feature
Step.1 Go to Settings, then tap Connections.
Step.2 Tap SIM card manager.
Step.3 Tap the SIM card that you would like to enable.
Step.4 Tap the switch to the right to activate the SIM card.
Step.5 Select your preferred icon then tap OK.
You can enter your preferred SIM card name, then tap Done.
What to do if you want to use eSIM and SIM card at the same time
To have two phone numbers or service providers for a single device, activate the eSIM or insert two SIM cards.
Differing from a physical nano-SIM card, an eSIM is an embedded digital SIM. Using both the nano-SIM card and the eSIM may result in slower data transfer speeds in some areas. The device recognizes up to two SIMs for Dual Standby.
Dual SIM Scenario: SIM1 (Physical SIM) + SIM2 (Physical SIM or eSIM)
Note:
eSIM may not be available depending on the region, service provider, or model.
Some services that require a network connection may not be available depending on the service provider.
Regional specifications may differ by country.
