Check WhatsApp Settings:
Open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Chats > Screen Lock. Ensure that the screen lock feature is enabled.
Enable Proximity Sensor:
The proximity sensor should automatically turn off the screen during calls when the phone is close to your ear or in your pocket. Make sure this feature is enabled in your phone’s settings:Go to Settings > Advanced Features > Motions and Gestures > Proximity Sensor.
Update WhatsApp:
Ensure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed. Sometimes, updates fix bugs related to screen behavior during calls.
Restart Your Phone:
A simple restart can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
Check for System Updates:
Make sure your phone’s software is up to date. Go to Settings > Software Update and check for any available updates.
Use a Screen Lock App:
If the issue persists, you might consider using a third-party app that locks the screen during calls.
If none of these solutions work, it might be worth reaching out to Samsung support or WhatsApp support for further assistance.
