camera photo resolution

I can change resolution for videos in the camera app but not photos. Everything is up to date for note 10 plus

hello dear, yeah you cannot change from setting. Now in new One UI and android 9 you can change through aspect ratio top option.

That doesn't change "image resolution"...that changes aspect ratio.  They are NOT the same thing...not even close to the same thing.

the resolution changes when you change the aspect ratio, for example... when you use like 9:16 ratio, the resolution changes. For best highest quality pictures from your phone, use 4:3 or 3:4 ratio
