I used to write important points of a meeting on my Samsung Notes app. Whether it’s pen and paper or Samsung Notes, I am not fast enough to write without missing some points while someone is speaking. Later I started to record the meeting so that I can hear it later to find out the missing points. But some times the meeting may last 2 or 3 hours and finding the missing points from a 2 or 3 hour long audio file is not that easy.
But now, with the renewed Samsung Notes app, I can easily write down the important points and record the meeting at the same time. That’s not all, while I playback the audio, the text written during the playback will get highlighted. Also, if I want to skip directly to a particular point, I can tap on the text to play the part of voice note which I recorded when I wrote that word. Let’s check how to use this feature.
Open a new or existing note. Now tap on the attach option
From the drop-down menu select Voice Recording
Everything will be recorded, you can even pause and resume the recording. The best part is you don’t need to write down all the important things in the meeting, simply write “Important point 1”. Once you play back the audio, just tap on the Important Point 1 and the audio recorded while you wrote that word will play. This way, if you have 100 points, just write point 1, 2, 3 etc. so that while you tap on the points, it will take you to the audio.
