Why the shortcut on my lock screen (calculator) cannot be opened without having to unlock my password as camera app?

the calculator needs the password but the camera doesnt

but it is assigned as shortcut app meaning that it should be launched without password. what is the point of having shortcut app here?

any app that has personal information or history of any kind need a password

you can set your gallery as a short cut but it will still need a password

if It didnt and anyone could open it then someone would be able to **bleep** your phone and get in from that one unprotected app
