Galaxy AWe apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with the edge lighting feature on your Samsung A35. Since you've already tried resetting the phone and updating the software without success, we recommend the following steps:
- Go to Settings > Notifications > Edge Lighting and ensure it is enabled. Verify that you have selected a style and adjusted the settings to your preference.
- Ensure that the apps you want to use with edge lighting have the necessary notification permissions. Go to Settings > Apps > select App > Notifications and make sure notifications are enabled.
- Boot your phone into Safe Mode to determine if any third-party apps are causing the issue. To enter Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button, then tap and hold "Power off" until the Safe Mode option appears. If edge lighting works in Safe Mode, the issue may be related to a third-party app.
If the problem persists, please send us an Error Report by following these steps:
- Head to the Samsung Members app > Get Help > Error Report.
- Tap 'OK' to send System Log Data.
- Select the symptom and include as much detail as possible.
