One UI 7 will likely be the last major software update for Samsung devices released before the Galaxy S23 series. After receiving One UI 7, these older devices will no longer get major Android version updates (like One UI 8 or beyond). However, they may still receive security updates for a certain period, but no new features or major updates will be introduced after One UI 7.
