this wasn’t a bug, it was a design decision by Samsung’s software team

I’m with you on this. Having everything in one 'hub' like the Wearable app made way more sense. Moving things into the general Settings menu just makes it feel buried.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding the updated integration of Galaxy Buds within the device settings. We understand your preference for managing all your wearable devices and accessories within a single interface, as was previously the case.

With the latest One UI updates, Samsung has transitioned the management of Galaxy Buds into the System Settings under Connected Devices (or appearing at the top of the Settings menu when the case is open). This change was designed to provide faster access to audio controls and noise cancellation settings without needing to launch a separate application.
Please note the following:

  • Galaxy Wearable Hub: The Galaxy Wearable app remains the primary interface for your Galaxy Watch and for the initial pairing and deep customization of all wearable devices.
  • Settings Shortcut: While the controls are now in the system menu, you can still access them quickly by opening the Galaxy Wearable app and selecting your Buds; it will simply direct you to the new integrated settings page.
  • Accessibility: This integration allows for better synchronization with other Galaxy Ecosystem features, such as Auto Switch and 360 Audio.

We truly value your input, as user feedback is essential for our development teams when planning future software refinements. Your comments regarding the unified interface have been noted and will be shared with the relevant department.

Feel free to reach back out to us if you have any other suggestions or require further assistance with your devices.

All Samsung devs just talk a lot to hide the mistakes they make and do what they want, not caring for anything, I'm sure no one will fix this problem
