Hello Samsung Members! I’m really excited about the AGEs index. It’s fascinating how it offers a snapshot of your biological and metabolic health, and even hints at how fast you’re aging.

But, there are some important points to consider. Accuracy: While this tool measures Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs), the results can vary depending on factors like skin type or environment, raising questions about reliability.

Interpreting Results: It’s great that it provides health insights, but without specific numerical values, it’s hard to track changes or fully understand what the data means. A clearer breakdown would make this feature more useful. Clinical

Recognition: Since AGE measurement is still new, many doctors may not recognize or understand these readings. If you bring this up at a hospital, you might get puzzled looks.

Latest Research: Studies link AGEs to aging, diabetes, and cardiovascular risks, showing the potential of this technology. Diagnoptics’ work in non-invasive AGE measurements is at the forefront, but more clinical validation is needed for it to gain widespread trust.

Have you tried this feature? How do you interpret the results, and do they feel accurate to you? Let’s discuss how we can make sense of this exciting but experimental tool!

Here is a snapshot of mine. It hasn't changed much in more than a week, but admittedly, my diet and sleep remained laregly unchanged which could signify that this feature is actually working.

As far as I found out by researching the Samsung AGE index seems to be the same for everyone no matter their lifestyle. Your post was the newest I found. So I wanted to ask if anyone has noticed changes within the last months in their AGE index.

Is this feature actually working properly or is it still in beta phase? If so, are there any clues on when it will work properly?

It seems strange that no matter your actual fitness level and nutrition habits you get a relatively bad index. At least I am interpreting "orange" as not being even close to good.

Furthermore I would like to get more information about its scaling. The additional information says that while getting older AGE will accumulate no matter what you do. Does that mean that only young people with a very good lifestyle will get a "green" result? Or does it take in account how old you are and gives you a result compared to your age?

Many questions and no answers to be found anywhere. Maybe someone can enlighten me or provide some experience over the last months.

Thanks!

I hear you. I share the same concerns, but I am still excited about this technology. Check my other extensive post on this. Here is the video:
