Apple has historically made beta software available to everyone, and new iOS versions have historically launched globally on the same day. I had assumed Samsung followed a similar practice, but after purchasing my S24, I discovered this is not true in my region compared to Western countries.

Here are the key reasons and points to understand:
* Limited Rollout: Samsung usually limits its beta programs to a handful of key markets, often including South Korea, the US, UK, Germany, India, and sometimes Poland or China. This allows them to manage feedback and bugs more effectively before a wider public release.
* Regional Focus: Beta programs are resource-intensive. Companies like Samsung prioritize markets where they can gather the most impactful feedback and test the software thoroughly with a diverse user base, often in regions with specific regulatory or network considerations.
* Less Common in Middle East: While some beta programs have occasionally seen limited availability in parts of Southeast Asia or the Middle East in the past, it's not a consistent pattern for the UAE specifically.
* Device Region (CSC): Even if you buy a Samsung phone from the UAE, if you then travel to a country where the beta is available, your device's region code (CSC) might prevent you from seeing the beta option in the Samsung Members app. Some users have reported attempting to change their device's CSC to a supported region to gain access, but this can be complex and may void your warranty.
* Samsung Members App: The Samsung Members app is the primary way to enroll in beta programs. If the UAE is not an eligible region, you won't see the beta registration banner or option within the app.
In summary, while it might be frustrating for users in the UAE, the absence of Samsung beta programs is primarily due to Samsung's strategic decision to limit the beta rollout to specific regions for testing and feedback purposes.
