Hey everyone,
I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, and while I absolutely love it, there's one part of the One UI 6 update that's been bothering me—the taskbar behavior.
Back when I was using One UI 5 (on an older device), the taskbar only showed recent apps. If there were none, it just stayed empty. It was clean, minimal, and super efficient for multitasking.
But on One UI 6 with my new Tab S9, things have changed. The taskbar still shows recent apps if you’ve used any—but now, if there are no recent apps, it fills the space with recommended apps. And honestly, they’re completely useless to me. I never use them, and it just feels like clutter on what used to be a perfectly streamlined feature.
I really hope Samsung considers adding a toggle or setting to disable recommended apps on the taskbar. Just let users choose! It would bring back that clean experience many of us
Anyone else with me?
