1. Use the "Device Care" Optimizer
Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Storage.
This tool shows a breakdown of what’s taking up space. Check the "Large files" and "Unused apps" sections to quickly delete items you no longer need. 2. Clear App Cache
Apps like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram store temporary data that can grow to several gigabytes.
Go to Settings > Apps. Select a high-usage app > Storage > Clear cache. (Don't click "Clear data" unless you're okay with logging in again). 3. Manage Photos and Videos
Media usually takes up the most room.
Google Photos: Use the "Free up space" feature to delete photos from your device that are already backed up to the cloud. WhatsApp Media: Go to WhatsApp Settings > Storage and Data > Manage Storage to delete large videos from chats. 4. Review the "Trash" Bin
Sometimes when we delete photos or files, they stay in the Trash for 30 days.
Open the Gallery or My Files app, go to the menu, and select Trash to empty it manually. 5. Remove Pre-installed Bloatware
If there are apps you never use that came with the phone, you can often Uninstall or Disable them in the Apps settings to save background space.
