Galaxy Z FoldTo clarify, my issue is with the main screen suddenly decided to give up after 5 months of use. So, I went to Samsung and asked them to fix it under the warranty on 3 different days, they refused since there was a small dent on the frame that occurred 3 months before having this issue with the flex cable (Which is common even under extreme temps). I tried explaining that these two issues aren't related in any shape or form but they refused and asked me to pay about 650 USD to fix my main screen. The employee tried justifying the repair price by saying that in order to replace the main screen they need to open the hinge, flex cable, etc. Now, is it my problem as a user to pay for Samsung's mistake of having such complicated fixing procedure? or did they think that as soon as the fold is damaged it won't be repaired? cause it seemed to me like they are trying to avoid repairing it under my one year warranty and want to charge me with that crazy price. I am still sending them the request hoping to fix it under the warranty. Imagine this is how they treat their customer who supported their underdeveloped hardware-wise IP48 rated 4400mAh phone with a crease.
btw I searched about this issue and guess what, the exact same damage happened to a user that had his fold in -6 degree C.
My last advice, consider the other foldables or make sure to get the care+. Otherwise, they won't help you even if it wasn't your fault.
