My samsung galaxy Z fold 7 has randomly changed my device font when using apps. I have restarted the phone multiple times and changed the font and back to the one I usually use but it's not working. For example my Instagram app font is the default font (which has changed) whereas in my settings I have picked a different Samsung font. It's inconsistent all over my device. Does anyone know what's wrong or is facing the same issue?

This looks like a software glitch with app font rendering. Some apps (like Instagram) don’t always follow the system font and may default to their own style, which can make it feel inconsistent across the device. Since you already tried restarting and switching fonts, I’d suggest the following steps:

1. Clear cache of the affected apps (e.g., Instagram) from Settings > Apps > [App] > Storage > Clear cache.

2. Check for updates in Galaxy Store and Play Store (both system apps and the affected apps).

3. Go to Settings > Display > Font size and style, reapply your preferred font, and restart once again.

4. If the issue continues, try Wipe cache partition from recovery mode (this doesn’t delete your data).

If none of that helps, it may be a One UI 7 / Z Fold7 software bug, so I’d recommend submitting an Error Report via the Samsung Members app → Support → Error reports, so the software team can look into it.

Thanks man, tried the steps you've advised but still no luck. I've reported it as you suggested, it does look like a bug. Hopefully Samsung clears this up.

Glad you reported it, best move in this case. Hopefully the next software update patches it soon. In the meantime, if it gets too annoying, you could also try using a different system font temporarily to see if it renders better with those apps. Let’s hope Samsung sorts it out quickly.

You may try the following steps to help resolve the issue. However, please note that custom fonts may not be fully supported across all apps, particularly third-party applications. That said, you can proceed with the following troubleshooting steps:

Clear the cache of the affected apps (e.g., Instagram):
Go to Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage > Clear Cache.

Check for updates in both the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store, including updates for system apps and the affected third-party apps.

Navigate to Settings > Display > Font size and style, reapply your preferred font, and restart the device.

If the issue persists, we recommend performing a Wipe Cache Partition from Recovery Mode.

Thanks for your response Samsung. I have performed the steps recommended but with no luck, the issue still persists.
Could you advise on the steps to wipe cache partition from recovery mode. Also, what does it mean to wipe the cache partition from recovery mode, what does it do exactly?
