WhatsApp images and videos(backed up) automatically deleted in the gallery

I used the smart switch app to transfer data from s9+ to s21+

The operation went smoothly all videos and images transferred to the new s21+device and i factory reseted the s9+

Once i installed whatsapp and received and new photo from a contact

Old whatsapp images and videos were automatically deleted and they're no where to be seen

I can only see newly sent items 

Please note that other videos and images from other programs are there and not deleted 

Help me please
