Galaxy SThank you for contacting us, and we truly appreciate your long‑term loyalty to the Samsung Galaxy series.
We understand your concern regarding the recent changes in Secure Folder after the latest update. Please note that some security and behavior adjustments are introduced through system updates to enhance overall protection and performance.
Regarding the issues you mentioned:
- Auto‑lock timing changes
The system may adjust the lock timeout based on new security policies. You can check the current options available in:
Settings → Security & Privacy → Secure Folder → Auto‑lock settings. - Access from third‑party apps
If any app appears to access Secure Folder files, please ensure that the files you are selecting were not previously moved outside Secure Folder. Files stored inside Secure Folder remain protected and cannot be accessed by other apps. - Downgrading the software is not supported, as it may affect device security and stability.
However, if you feel the Secure Folder is not functioning as expected, we kindly recommend visiting the nearest Samsung Service Center so our specialists can inspect your device and ensure everything is working correctly.
You may locate the nearest center here:

We’re always here to support you, and we appreciate your trust in Samsung.

Galaxy SThank you for reaching out to us once again and for your continued support of the Samsung Galaxy series. We truly appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns regarding the recent changes to the Secure Folder after the latest software update.
We would like to address the issues you've raised:
Auto-Lock Timing Adjustment
We acknowledge your frustration with the new auto-lock timeout setting. This change is part of an update aimed at improving security. While we understand it may not be the most convenient for your usage, we suggest reviewing the auto-lock settings to adjust the timing to a duration that best suits your needs. You can find the option under:
- Settings → Security & Privacy → Secure Folder → Auto-lock settings
Access to Secure Folder via Third-Party Apps
We apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced. It is concerning that third-party applications are able to access Secure Folder files. Please ensure that files were not inadvertently moved outside of the Secure Folder. Files stored inside should remain secure and isolated from other apps.
If this issue persists, we recommend clearing the cache and data of the Secure Folder app, as well as ensuring your device is updated to the latest software version. If these steps do not resolve the problem, we suggest visiting a Samsung Service Center, where our technicians can further diagnose the issue and assist you.
You can easily find the nearest Samsung Service Center through this link:

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we are committed to resolving this matter to your satisfaction.
