Hello , i have a S21 + and after the recent update released on 26th March . I noticed that there is issues within the charging wnd battery .
At first i was scrolling when the charging percentage was near 20% and all of the sudden the lhone shut off and when i tried starting it it said 0% , second time its was when the phone was on 25% within 2 minutes its dropped to 15% and i noticed when it reach 15% within 1 minutes the phone will reach 0% like water drainage.

Just want to see if someone else having the issue or its just my phone.

Thank you for sharing your concern regarding sudden battery drops on your Galaxy S21+ after the recent update. This issue may occur due to a software calibration mismatch after the update, which can temporarily affect battery percentage reporting.

Please try the following steps to stabilize battery performance:

  1. Restart the device:
A simple restart can help the system recalibrate battery usage.
  2. Check for battery-draining apps:
Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Usage since last full charge. Close or uninstall apps consuming excessive power.
  3. Optimize device performance:
Settings > Battery and device care > Optimize now, to clear background processes.
  4. Calibrate the battery:
Charge your phone to 100%, then use it normally until it fully discharges to 0% once or twice. This can help the system recalibrate battery reporting.
  5. Ensure software is fully updated:
Settings > Software update > Download and install. Updates may include battery optimization patches.

If the issue continues after several days of normal usage and following the above steps, we recommend visiting the nearest authorized service center for a full battery inspection:
