Downgrading the software version on your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra can vary depending on the specific circumstances. Generally, the process involves flashing an older firmware version onto your device. However, keep in mind that downgrading may result in data loss and can have unintended consequences, so proceed with caution.

Here are general steps to downgrade:

1. **Backup Data:**
Before proceeding, it's crucial to back up your important data to prevent any loss.

2. **Download Firmware:**
Obtain the firmware version you want to downgrade to from a reliable source. Make sure it's compatible with your device model.

3. **Enable Developer Options and USB Debugging:**
On your device, go to Settings > About phone > Software information. Tap "Build number" multiple times until you see a message indicating that Developer Options are enabled. Then, enable USB debugging in Developer Options.

4. **Download and Install Odin:**
Odin is a tool commonly used for flashing Samsung devices. Download and install Odin on your computer.

5. **Boot into Download Mode:**
Power off your phone. Press and hold the Volume Down button, Bixby button (if applicable), and Power button simultaneously until you see a warning message. Press the Volume Up button to enter Download Mode.

6. **Connect Your Phone to the Computer:**
Connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable.

7. **Use Odin to Flash Firmware:**
Open Odin on your computer. In Odin, click on the "BL," "AP," "CP," and "CSC" buttons and select the corresponding firmware files. Make sure the "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" options are selected.

8. **Start the Flashing Process:**
Click the "Start" button in Odin to begin the firmware flashing process. Wait for it to complete, and your phone will reboot.

9. **Factory Reset (Optional but Recommended):**
After downgrading, it's often recommended to perform a factory reset to avoid any compatibility issues.

10. **Complete Setup:**
Once your phone restarts, complete the initial setup. Restore your data from the backup.

Remember, this process involves some risk, and you should only proceed if you're comfortable with it. Ensure that you follow specific instructions for your device model and firmware version. Additionally, check for any user experiences or community forums related to downgrading your specific device to gather more information.

Kindly be advised that software updates are delivered on it to provide optimal and best experience of the product

When Samsung delivers an update to your Samsung product, it provides either of the following:

1. An upgrade to the latest operating system version

2. To deliver new features or support for some applications in the market

3. To deliver fixes on reported issues

4. To deliver security updates

It is not recommended to downgrade the device version even if an issue is found after the update.

Note: Official Samsung updates are only through FOTA updates, software update applied at Samsung authorized center, and update through USB (for TV) after downloading new software from Samsung.com.

If an issue is observed, a solution has to be delivered through another software update.
