Love my Samsung, but when will Face Recognition be as smooth as iPhone? Feels like I have to find the perfect angle every time!

Some android phones had face id sensors before not as fancy as apple's but they focused on fingerprint more .. i wish they bring it back and do it as good as apple's

As a core Samsung user, I find their fingerprint and face recognition lacking. Despite their excellence in other areas, these key features need serious improvement for better security and convenience.

Samsung's Face Recognition has improved over the years, but it's still not as seamless as Apple's Face ID, which uses advanced 3D facial scanning with the TrueDepth camera. Samsung mainly relies on 2D image-based recognition, which is why it struggles with angles and lighting.

If you're having issues, try these:

Re-register your face in better lighting and at different angles.

Enable "Faster Recognition" in Face Recognition settings (though this may reduce security).

Use Intelligent Scan (if available) to combine face and iris scanning for better results.

Make sure your front camera is clean for better detection.

Samsung may improve Face Recognition in future updates, but for now, it's best combined with other unlock methods like fingerprint scanning.
