Galaxy SThere are also a few steps that you can try to get this sorted:
1. Check if the phone software is up to date from the phone Settings> Software update> Download and install.
2. Check if there are any pending updates available for the phone apps from the Google Play Store and the Galaxy Store> Menu> Manage my apps and device/My apps> Update all.
3. Would you be able to run the phone in Safe mode and see if the same thing happens?
Power off the phone.
Power on the phone. The Galaxy logo displays.
When the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the volume down button.
'Safe Mode' is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen.
To exit Safe Mode, restart the phone. When it reboots, it will no longer be in Safe Mode.
