Can't restor backup from hard drive

I did back up my S24 Ultra to an external hard drive, when I bought a new one, tried to restore but it's sasaying no backup found. 

In the hard drive all the folders are there but yet the phone is not seeing them.

Any ideas?

Check if Your backup done properly on hard drive

Do you have a way to know if the backup was done properly on the hard drive?

When I did it no error message appeared only backup 100% done

Buy the way this is the second time I'm facing this problem

Could you please confirm if you backed up the data using the Smart Switch app? This is the only method to back up and restore data through the following options:

SD card
Hard drives
Cloud services
Direct cable connection
Wireless connection
