I recently switched to Samsung Galaxy 25 ultra Android AutoCarCar Play, but I’ve been experiencing several issues. Touch is not working and keep on hang unable to control anything, I have tested it with iphones which is working fine without any issue on the same car. Back to S25U The app sometimes freezes or gets stuck, forcing me to close and reopen it. It also disconnects from time to time, which is really frustrating.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Android Auto on your Galaxy S25 Ultra.

We understand how inconvenient it can be when Android Auto becomes unresponsive, freezes, or disconnects frequently, especially when it works normally with other devices in the same vehicle. Please try the following troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

  • Make sure your Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Android Auto app are updated to the latest available versions.
  • Update your vehicle’s infotainment system firmware, if an update is available from the car manufacturer.
  • Use an original or high-quality USB cable and avoid adapters or extensions.
  • Clear Android Auto data:
    • Settings > Apps > Android Auto > Storage > Clear cache and Clear data, then restart the phone.
  • Disable battery optimization for Android Auto:
    • Settings > Apps > Android Auto > Battery > Allow background usage / No restrictions.
    • Unpair the car from Bluetooth, restart both the phone and the car system, then pair and set up Android Auto again.
    • Test Android Auto in Safe Mode to check if any third-party apps are causing conflicts.
