Galaxy NoteHello everyone,
As most of us are using multiple devices, I think it's relevant to have a look at different methods to transfer files between these devices. For convenience, I will be splitting this post into three parts.
There are three main methods I use the most.
- Quick Share – for data transfer between Samsung Devices https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-Note/Easy-Sharing-Part-1/td-p/8094147
- Nearby Share – for data transfer between any android device : https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-Note/Easy-Sharing-Part-2/m-p/8122752#M21978
- Samsung Flow – for data transfer between a Samsung Android device and a Windows PC : https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-Note/Easy-Sharing-Part-3/td-p/8161499
Quick Share
As I mentioned before, this feature is used to transfer data between two Samsung phones.
To use this feature, Quick Share must be turned on in the other device as highlighted in the screenshot below.
Once turned ON, select the desired file and tap the share button.
Now select Quick Share
You can select the desired device from the list of available nearby devices. A popup message will appear requesting approval to receive the file in the receiving device when you transfer for the first time, press receive or accept. DONE.
Part 2 will be posted soon, Stay tuned.
