I am writing to provide feedback regarding the webcam functionality on your devices running Android 14 and later.
While I appreciate the inclusion of the native USB webcam feature in Android 14, I've noticed that its implementation on Samsung devices doesn't fully align with the seamless experience offered by stock Android, or is entirely absent on devices that should support it.
Google Pixel has it, some varients of Motorola has as well.
It would be greatly beneficial if all compatible Samsung smartphones running Android 14 (or newer) fully supported the built-in "use as webcam" feature, allowing users to effortlessly connect their device and utilize its excellent camera quality for video calls and streaming without the need for third-party applications. Ensuring consistent and robust functionality across your device lineup would significantly enhance the user experience and leverage the superior camera hardware that Samsung is known for.
