Hi 🙂, I understand how worrying this must feel.

If your Galaxy device restarted and erased everything automatically, it sounds like the phone may have gone through a factory reset. This can happen if the device detects multiple failed password attempts, or in rare cases after certain system issues.

Steps you can try:

1. Try signing in again with your Google account that was previously linked to the phone. Go to Google Account Recovery on another device/PC. This will help you reset your password and regain access.

2. Once you sign in, you can restore your contacts, photos, and files that were backed up to Google Drive / Google Photos / Samsung Cloud.

3. If you used Smart Switch before, you can restore your backup from there as well.

4. Unfortunately, if the data was not backed up to any account or external storage, it may not be possible to recover it after a factory reset.

For future safety:

Enable Samsung Cloud / Google backup in Settings.

Use Smart Switch or external storage for regular backups.

If you still cannot access your Google account or the device, please visit a Samsung Service Center for hands-on help.
