Charging loop

Why is my phone on a charging loop, as the fast charging ring comes every second that it remains plugged in, but no charge is acquired.

Update: this issue comes when I turn on the fast charging. Anyone know to fix this?

One of my buddies had the same problem; he rebooted his thing once, totally drained the battery, and boom, it was fixed.

Thanks for that advice, later I tried plugged in my Nothing phone with it's cable and that same adapter (25W Samsung superfast), it seems to happen the same after 4 mins of charging to that phone too. Guess I have to change that adapter.
