My s22 ultra suddenly got a white line on the top right side bar and half of the screen greenish while using the phone normally. What is this happening?

It's like im not the only one who faced this issue. I got panicked and searched the issue. Then i found others also got the same issue. Enabling powersave mode or setting 60Hz refresh rate solves the problem temporarily.

This issue primarily arises from overheating in your Galaxy S22 Ultra. To resolve it, I recommend adjusting your device's power settings to limit background processes and reduce heat generation. Additionally, consider removing resource-intensive apps or using a cooling fan to help maintain a lower temperature during heavy usage.

Be sure to click the 3 dots and " ✓ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.

Thanks... 👍

Setting up motion smooth to "Standard" (60Hz) will solve the issue temporarily. But I remember when the issue arose the first time the phone did not overheat. Setting up VPN application setting at that time.

But I can see the white bar when I turn on the phone and wake up from the lock screen.

Update: 22.09.2023

I have contacted the Samsung India support through email. They offered FOC replacement for free of charge.

The only problem here is, since i bought from a phone shop that was from Indian region. So the sri lankan samsung customer service said that they cannot give the free repair for the overseas phones other than bought from authorized sri lankan sellers.

So now i have left two options either hand over to the shop which i bought or send the phone to india via courier service. SmartSelect_20230922_212430_Gmail_1000081163_1695398070.jpg

You can either return it to the shop where you bought it or send it to India via a courier service. Choose the option that's most convenient for you.
