indisplay fingerprint sensor not working after applying screen protector

I just got A31. For safety i got tempered glass protector. But the problem is that now my indisplay fingerprint sensor is not working. Anyone facing this issue?

plus we got update in june or july for fngerprint sensitivity . after that it worked very well .
