A50 Fingerprint Issue

Hello there! I own a S20 ultra but recently bought an A50 for my brother and he keeps saying the fingerprint isnt working and he believes it is the screen protector? Does anyone know any good screen protectors that allow the indisplay fingerprint to work? Or any fix for the fingerprint as it wont even register!
