Galaxy A
My Samsung Galaxy A20 fell out of my pocket and the screen cracked. The screen is now completely black and non-responsive. However, when I hold in the power button and the volume down buttons together then the phone does vibrate briefly after around 5 seconds, indicating that the phone is still functional. How can I do a factory reset on the phone now (possibly using my laptop) before taking it in for the screen to be replaced without being able to use it or even see the screen?

The only way to perform a safe factory reset of the device without damaging your software is through the settings of your device, however with a blank screen its not accessible. You can take the device to the service center for repairs and also notify the technician to reset the device to factory.

Whether it's a product repair or just some help and advice. There are authorised support centres across the ZA that can help you.
