Also if you put Gallery in secure folder. It will shown empty. You need to move all media files into secure folder to see it in Gallery in the secure folder. New photos won't be available in it by default

Where we need applock mostly? Finance apps right. Secure folder don't support any finance/banking apps that needs SMS verification.

There are plenty of very useful apps. Not like many fancy apps in samsung
