Its a software issue i got the same problem like 2 months ago and recently got an update now it is fast charging but still i have to restart device sometimes as it only shows charger connected instead of fast charger connected.
Esim has a dedicated hardware. Esim is not that popular in indian region and to reduce the cost and make it affordable for that region they might not have included the esim hardware
