What you're saying can be done in the same way, but I did it on OneUI version 7. This is not a custom icon, it's a separate icon pack.

Very easy. Download goodlock app. Which is samsung's won app.. use home up module,turn on DIY HOME option. And creat yor home screen.but kwgt pro is must needed. Icon Pack also. If you want i give you video link (youtube).
