Day by day I'm noticing this get more prominent. Battery draining almost twice as fast. They're probably doing this so that when you get the Oreo update later and think the battery life has gone up drastically.
The Pixel 2 in a lot of scenarios is more vibrant with it's colours. Right now the IPhone 8 is crazy appealing to the eyes. I prefer that as well. Samsung's too bland and washed out in comparison.
The Note 8 just pulls ahead due to the dual lens setup with the telephoto lens giving almost lossless zoom advantage.Almost all the other components like autofocus, textures, colour accuracy, exposure and contrast are beaten by the Pixel 2.
