One Ui 7 battery Drain

First day after installing One Ui 7 and I'm seeing a drastic battery drop. I hope this will be getting better when the OS stabilises some more. Right now I'm seeing quite a dip in battery life.

The same thing happened to me after an android 11 update. I think it was one UI 3.1. But after the patch update, it performed better.
How about the new software ? Is it smother ? Is the device getting heated ?

I can't see any extra smoothness, nor does it overheat. But the battery drains slightly faster

I am noticing some jitteriness, also I'm trying to keep everything as default without trying to change how the Ui was in 6.1. Some implementations in One Ui 7 are a bit annoying, but no major issues were noted.
