What is wrong if I use 25w charger to charge my s24 while fast charging is OFF in my phone settings? Will it damage my phone or battery?

What, no? It won't, lol 😆
Resisters are built in to avoid extra power 🔋 💪
Charger won't send it to 25W once it is closed
I currently use 45W 5A one to my every phone

Your phone battery will not get damaged as long as you use the original samsung charger. However, prolonged use of fast charging and higher wattage adapters over a period of time may do some damage to the life span of your battery.
I used the original 25W adapter for my s20 ultra even though it supported 45W back in the day. Now I have the s23 ultra with me, I still use the same adapter for both my s20 ultra and the s23 ultra. Plus, I have always used the protect battery option, which limits charge to 85%, and I only switches on fast charging very rarely in the case of an emergency. With experience, I can tell my s20 ultra lasts more than a day even after using it for 3 consecutive years and is almost the same as s23 ultra. My advice is to only use fast charging or a higher wattage samsung power brick in the case of an emergency. Because higher wattage and fast charging lead to extensive heat, which does damage to your battery in the long run. If you want your phone to feel the same way over the battery, even after 3-4 years , follow my method. Genuine facts with experience 💯. Also, try to use the protect battery option, and never let your phone below 20%.

I use original samsung 25w charger. My plan is also to charge as you have mentioned here. So if any emergency, I will switch on fast charging. Otherwise I will keep that off. Thanks
