Gmail notifications not getting received!

Good day

I hope you're all doing good.

I'm using galaxy s22 plus and I'm facing an issue with gmail app of not getting any notifications when email comes even though all notifications setting is ok and gmail app is up to date. 

The emails are shown in the inbox or only come when open gmail app is opened but not through push notifications. 

Please do tell if anyone else is also facing this and recommend a solution as well.

Enable sync from notification toggle then you will receive notification on time.

Sync provides push notifications. Emails, Samsung notifications, weather forecast, Samsung health data and few other things require enabled sync to synchronize data.

Thank you for your response Aakash but gmail sync is already ticked!
I don't even know if the issue is in gmail app or due to phone software

Brother. I also have updated Gmail app, and also running UI 6.0 but not facing any issue.

I think that there's some issue in your app settings like battery optimization, or priority notification.

If you can, do reset the app preferences also

I reset the app preferences as well. I guess the issue is with the gmail app as outlook app is working just fine with the notifications.
I tried using through samsung email but same issue.
