Not good. 2D facial recognition is faster and more convenient, it's generally considered less secure than 3D facial recognition because 2D systems can be fooled by photographs or masks, whereas 3D systems analyze depth and other features that are not present in 2D images.
3D facial recognition offers superior security by analyzing depth and other features that are not present in 2D images.
When choosing a facial recognition system, prioritize 3D technology for enhanced security.

All Samsung phones utilize 2D technology because the addition of a 3D sensor is not provided. Samsung's front-facing cameras are currently only capable of 2D imaging.
