I had a security patch update on my s25fe on March 25th since then my phone battery is draining really faat like 3 to 4 hours screen time without any heavy usage and Bluetooth and location services are always off. Is there any solution for this?

Please attempt to reset all settings, then power cycle your device. Subsequently, review battery usage statistics to identify any applications consuming excessive power. If the issue persists, consider clearing the cache for all applications, including system applications, as the dedicated cache partition option is no longer available. Additionally, ascertain if any recently installed applications, particularly those from third-party sources via .apk files, might be contributing to the problem. Should these steps prove ineffective, a factory reset of the device may be necessary.

The April security update is focused on enhancing security measures and does not pertain to battery performance improvements.

Will it improve after the software update since my phone is only 4 months old and I didn't expect an expensive phone like s25fe to cause me such distress

Certain updates have been observed to contribute to accelerated battery depletion. Historically, clearing the cache partition often resolved this issue; however, this option is no longer provided by Samsung. Should significant battery drain persist, it is recommended to back up all data and perform a factory reset on the device. This action may effectively mitigate the problem.
