In July 2025, Samsung never officially said they paused the One UI 7 update for Galaxy A06 4G in any region. There’s no official statement, no Members post, no changelog, nothing at all. Yet the entire community even international blogs are saying “Update is paused again.” But why? Because of one app CheckFirm. Yes, that’s the reality. CheckFirm didn’t show any new build for A06 4G and from that one missing entry, the whole world decided that “Samsung has paused the update.” This is dangerous.We are letting a third-party app control the global update narrative. It’s not official, it’s not always accurate and it doesn’t show internal testing. Yet blogs, creators, and users rely on it blindly. CheckFirm has become more powerful than Samsung’s own voice in this matter. When it’s silent, we assume Samsung is silent. When it shows a test build, we assume release is near. No questions asked. And the sad part is that Samsung remains silent and lets this happen. It’s time for a change. Either Samsung should ban or restrict tools likeCheckFirmor Samsung should give us an official, transparent update tracker, so we stop relying on incomplete sources. Because right now,CheckFirmhas covered the entire community even the whole world with confusion. And that’s not how a tech ecosystem should work.
