It's been over a month that we haven't heard a lot about the Galaxy A04. After all, Unpacked was the highlight of August, and there was a lot of buzz around Samsung's new foldable handsets and Galaxy Watch smartwatches. However, the low-cost Galaxy A04 is back in the news as it appears to be approaching its beginnings.

More hardware details and Galaxy A04 renderings have surfaced, giving a nearly complete picture of what is to come. According to the details leaked thus far, the Galaxy A04 has a 6.5-inch HD+ display, a 5,000mAh battery, and a dual camera system comprising a 50MP primary shooter (f/1.8 aperture) and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
The phone has a Infinity-V display design, and future customers should have at least four colour options to choose from: black, copper, dark green and white.
In addition to the above specifications, the Galaxy A04 will also carry a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and should provide 5GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
The Galaxy A04 should wrap its internal components in a polycarbonate unibody that weighs 192 grams and measures roughly 164.4 x 76.3 x 9.1mm.
When it comes to the processor, it is powered by an octa-core processor, but the official list does not mention the name of the processor.
However, the Galaxy A03 is powered by a Unisoc SC9863 processor. The rear camera design shows a change, and the Galaxy A04 lacks the fingerprint reader. There will be three options for RAM and storage: 4GB/32GB, 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB. Storage can be expanded up to 1 TB through microSD.
The Galaxy A04 will be running Android 12 with One UI Core 4.1, a toned-down version of the One UI. It maintains the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price & Availability
The model mentioned above was already launched and hit the European market for €169, but the non-S variant will cost less.
Also, I'm not sure when that's going to happen in Sri Lanka and other places. This could occur in the near future, but we always need an official word.
