To ensure a safe updation I am sharing some tips. Before updating, there should be 80% or more charge, make sure the phone is cool down, there should be no background task, update after putting 60hz or use 60hz itself, update after removing the back cover, heating is the cause of the green line. It is best to update in a room with good ventilation, a room with a fan, a room with AC or a car.
Heating causes green line. So keep your device cool down while updating. Remember to stop background running apps before installing update. Always try to update from a well ventilated room/A c room/A c car. Remove back case before downloading& installing update.Always Keep charge above 80% before updating . Set the lower screen refresh rate before updation(ie. In samsung set screen refresh rate to 60hz). Do not update if the humidity is higher/under sunlight. Wait 1/2 weeks after Update rolled out then watch YouTube reviews before updating. Turn off auto update over wifi(Auto Downloading software updates over mobile data is disabled in Samsung other brand users should turn off auto downlod completely or set it as never). Try to Download update and install at the same day/time. In samsung green line is mostly occurred in Exynos SoC because it's power hungry and heat generating processor so avoid Exynos models. One more thing if you are using a curved display model and applied UV tempered glass green line come for sure because UV glue reacts with Amoled panels and causes damage so please don't apply UV tempered glass. Instead of that you can apply screen protector filim in your curved display model.

Doing all the above mentioned things will help to eliminate the coming of the green line to some extent. I am not guaranteeing that green line never comes to your device after doing all these things. Green line occures in Amoled panels of all brands devices. Proper caring of device&Luck is also a factor🤞

Note: Green line is the problem with firmware in updates. Firmware decides how the hardwares will be work and how much volt to be give for each pixel array in Amoled panels and other hardware components (Amoled arrey is basically Red,Green,Blue) if more volt given to any pixel array it will permanently damage the hardware(ie. Amoled panels) especially if there is any quality issue in panels. It's not even with a particular brand. You can search in X(formerly known as Twitter) by your device model and type green line you can find a list of coplaints by costomers of your device models.
Green line can occur by a sudden drop of device and the device fall down by display side and any sharp objects touches the display with a little bit of pressure.

If there is no physical damages/any liquid damages In your device you can get free screen replacement(if it's out of warranty)if green line occured after updation. Go to your nearest samsung service centre and tell them the matter. If they denied/reject&ask you to pay for the display. Then ask them to give the job sheet.

Go to samsung website and do an email to their CEO with the job sheet, email address is available in the website.

Meantime, file a complaint in NCH against samsung.

Soon customer support team will contact you. They'll maximum try not to give you the free replacement. But threaten them and tell them this happened due to the update. Defend your points and they'll come forward for a mutual agreement, and offers you free display replacement. It's up to how you are talking with them.

Please note, your phone doesn't have any physical damages.

Everything is perfect. Only thing i cant understand is uv tempered glass. Uv glass se green line ka dur dur tak koi lena dena nahi hai. It can harm outer layer smoothness only.

UV glass glue reacts with Amoled/poled/OLED panels and might be cause green/pink line if the glue enter into phone through power button/volume button gaps, speaker vents, mic hole ect. That's why none of the brand gives you warranty if you applied UV glass in your device.
