M30s hotspot not detectable by laptop after Android 10 update

I updated Samsung M30s to Android 10 this morning. I enabled hotspot in my mobile and tried to connect my acer laptop that has wifi USB dongle. It didn't detect the m30s hotspot. I was able to connect the same devices(m30s and Acer laptop with USB wifi dongle) before updating to Android 10. Now my laptop doesn't detect m30s hotspot but my laptop detects other Mobile phone hotspot. Likewise other mobiles phone can detect my m30s hotspot and connect with it but not my Acer laptop that used to connect till yesterday. I suspect the issue is with Android 10. Anyone facing this issue?

Hi Ashok ,

It could be possible that it might be the issue with the latest update, however I would suggest you can try to connect with another laptop and check if still not working please try to do this steps:
Reset Settings SAMSUNG Galaxy M30s

At first turn on the mobile with the Power button.After that choose Main Menu and Settings.In the next step select General management.Now you should tap Reset and Reset settings.Finally choose Reset Settings and confirm the whole operation by tapping Reset Settings.Perfect!

I did all these steps even I did factory reset. Nothing worked out.

I will try to connect with another laptop if I get another one.

I have the same problem after upgrade and my hotspot is working on all other devices except laptop with windows 10

1. Reset the General settings and Network settings of your device to Reset go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset settings > Reset network settings.

I did Network Reset and even I did Factory Reset but nothing resolved the issue. I repeat the issue is not with laptop as it is able to detect other mobile hotspots and connect with it but not with M30s that too after android 10 update.

Yes, After the update there is no option to change the hotspot frequency

In app store it shows tha samsung members application is not compatible for my m30s. Though I also face the same issue and also lot of users as well. You can find that out here many mentioned that they face the same issue. 

So what is the solution you could provide for us? While lot of other Samsung Mobiles have option to select between Auto or 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz why can't it provided in M30s as well?
