This is a camera comparison video between s20fe4g and A54.

(Now, this is not a well known channel. I just chanced up on this channel last day and found the content as useful. The USP of this channel is that the creator doesn't share his thoughts on the devices and lets the viewers to decide).

My take aways from this video:

  • S20fe is still a better phone for videography and day time photography from back cameras.
  • In the videography department the s20fe just smashes the A54 out of the competition, especially when it comes to stabilization.
  • Similarly, the telephoto lens is a big advantage.
  • During night time, the A54 seems to be the better choice for both main cam and wide angled lens.
  • A54 takes better selfies, much better actually. The drawback of s20fe has always been the avg selfie cam.
In conclusion, s20fe is a better device for videography and day time photography. But still I won't be recommending this device as of today because it has become quite old now(3 year old device). Of course they are still producing the phone but you won't be getting longer software support. So, if any of you are interested in a camera centric device, you should definitely go for s21fe which is a better camera device than s20fe.

Nb: The device used in this comparison is s20fe4g(Exynos). The s20fe5g takes comparatively better photos than the Exynos varient due to better image processing(especially HDR). And the s21fe takes better photos and videos than even the s20fe5g.

Lol why are you always running back to A52s? So that you can argue better? Did I mention A52s anywhere in this post? The display quality of s21fe is better than that of A54 and that is the device I recommended in this post.

Nb: anyway amoled displays turn off the pixels when anything black is displayed. So blacks on ANY amoled display means turned off pixels..that means nothing..no light. So I don't know how a turned off pixel can be more inky black. A turned off pixel is a turned off pixel.

No, because you said a54 only had camera and battery life better than a52s...thats why i mentioned about the display too..also the difference in the display quality cannot be understood by someone who doesn't own an a54..i dont know about the pixel turned off is off things and all..but as a user of both the devices i can say it..

And no, i never argued with you..i dont want to waste my time arguing with some random person that i dont even know...I have got other things to do rather than arguing and wasting time..i just brought up a52s here just because i remembered you stating that a54 had only camera and battery life better than a52s..that was wrong and i thought i would correct it..thats why..nothing else..no offense

Ok, s21fe is a better device than A54 for cameras is my post here all about. No offence to you either. My intention was a healthy discussion and not a toxic argument. I am sorry if you felt it otherwise.

Regarding the blacks on amoled, bro if I play a completely dark scene (no nothing except pitch black on the display) and keep my device on a desk in a pitch black room, I won't be able to see where the device is. Just like when we lock the device and keep it. That's because all the pixels are turned off when blacks are displayed. Unlike on a LCD where blacks are also shown by a active display, on an led, the blacks are shown by making those parts of the display inactive (turned off).

May be you feel the blacks as more effective on A54 because of better contrasts of other colours on the display. That I won't be objecting to as I haven't used A54 and it is possible that they might have added a better display after 2 years.

But regarding the black, it's factually not possible for one amoled to show better blacks than another amoled if both are in perfectly working condition. For eg: during the initial few months of purchasing the A52s, I had this problem where the AOD was not showing the blacks, instead it was showing a greyish tone. But this was due to software issue where by the pixels were not turning off when a black colour was supposed to be shown on the display. This was subsequently fixed with the next updates.

Peace out bro, no hate. Consider it as a healthy discussion.

Yes bro i get your point..and whatever you described about amoled displays i am completely aware of it..but just by looking at both the displays side by side, i feel a54 display looks somewhat more appealing to the eyes..like you said may be they made a54 display look more effective by adjusting some contrasts..or like you said they may have used a better display this time..dont know..whatever it is, a betterment in technologies is always welcome.

Were you talking about s20 fe or s21 fe all this time?? You have mentioned s21fe a couple or more times here...and as far as i know, s21 fe has a horrible battery life..but s20fe has a satisfactory battery life

I have explained what I wanted to convey in a detailed manner in the post itself. I don't think any more repetition is needed.
