It's time for me to have a help from y'all 👻

So here's the tea..
I'm actually planning to buy a USB C microphone, but the thing is that my phone and laptop already got 3.5mm jack.

Browsing the internet did not give me enough information, and I'm tired of browsing😵💫

So I wanna know if it still works even though I already got 3.5mm jack? Because the mic connects to phone as a earphone but only functions only as a mic.

So on the internet some says I need some kind of DAC thingy, and some says having USB OTG is enough, I have no idea which one is correct 😔

For your reference, I do have type C port/s and 3.5mm port on both of my mobile and laptop and I'm using a Galaxy A25.

Hope y'all would share your knowledge with me 🧠

Sending lots of love 💗

I personally used Samsung Type C akg headphones with Galaxy S10, Galaxy A9 2018, and my msi laptop. All have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Despite that, all worked perfectly.

The problem is that when you try to open the default radio app, type c headphones do not act as an antenna. Cause it's digital.

Other than that no issues. In your case it is also the same. No problems.

Yes its working on most of the phones. I got a type C earphone as a gift from a relation. The earphone which the Singapore Airlines provide. It was type C and when I connect it to the Type C port it worked. Only thing is that type C earphones don't have an antenna so on the default radio app as Dushan said it will not work.

Your S10 had 3.5mm headphone jack but I believe A90 didn't have a headphone jack...but good to know about PC
