Hi, I recently purchased the TP-Link Archer AX10 WiFi 6 router and set up two separate WiFi networks: one on 2.4GHz and the other on 5GHz. I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25, but both devices are unable to detect the 5GHz network. Initially, the S24 briefly connected to the 5GHz band, but the network disappeared shortly afterward. On the other hand, my laptop and Google Pixel 6a can consistently detect and connect to the 5GHz network without any issues. I’ve already tried the following troubleshooting steps: Resetting the network (WiFi and Bluetooth) settings on both Samsung phones Restarting the phones and the router Factory resetting the router Toggling the RAM Plus option on the Samsung devices Despite these efforts, I haven't been able to find a reliable, permanent solution. Any guidance would be appreciated.

The same thing happened to me when I bought tp-link router with 5g support. I don't know why but 5g network never showed up on my phone. Only 2.4ghz worked fine. The thing is it worked fine on my laptop. But 5g network never showed up on ANY PHONE. I ENDED UP GETTING RID OF THE ROUTER.

Because on my new router I never had such issues. It is TP-Link's issue, not Samsung.

Yeah, I thought the same, but my old Pixel 6a is still detecting and connecting to it - that's why I was wondering if there's a specific setting I need to adjust. I guess only phones with Wi-Fi 6 support are able to detect it otherwise.

No bro, galaxy s24 series and above support wifi 7. It is the router's issue. The router is using an incompatible band for phones.

Could you specify the region/country of both your router and your phones?

Let me explain if you found this useful. I have tplink router but it is from UAE. And both of mobile are from Pakistan. My laptop shows and connect with 5g network of my router and works smoothly. But my phone as same as problem faced by you can't detect 5g wifi network. However I have used 5g wifi on both my phones with different router.
So it could be the same problem as described.
(Hope my point is understandable).

Also note that your pixel is detecting the 5g wifi. so it could be the same problem as of mine.
